Rumors about a YouTube application for Nintendo Switch have been around for some time, but they have taken off again: a revealing image has appeared on Nintendo's official website – and a possible release date is virtually included.
Streaming video on the Nintendo Switch is not a problem for European users. Only the United States and Japan with Hulu and Niconico are already the first services with their own applications on the hybrid console. Soon, that could change: the long-awaited YouTube app by many fans should finally be in the starting blocks, as Polygon reports.
Does the Nintendo website reveal the release of YouTube?
Information has been disclosed by users of the ResetEra forum on the official Nintendo website: Apparently, the new video service appeared when the application's recommendation was posted. If the leak is correct, it should be very soon: The date of publication is November 8th. But is it realistic?
Round trip – Nintendo and streaming support
Nintendo has up to now expressed very ambiguous about the streaming services on the switch. First, it has been said that such applications are not planned. Then support was again realistic – but not in the near future. It is possible, so we must rethink Nintendo. Anyway, we are already smarter in a few days.
