In the sumptuously designed magazine, he recounts his preference for pheasant tart and reveals that the red squirrels at Balmoral Castle, the Queen's Scottish estate, are free to move into his apartments.

"If I sit still, they will be quiet too," Prince Charles writes about his fluffy friends. "Sometimes, when I leave my jacket on a chair with nuts in my pockets, I see them with their protruding tails while they hunt nuts – they are incredibly special creatures."

For years, he has been fighting for the conservation of nature

The 70-year-old just loves nature. In the garden of Clarence House, he grows organic vegetables. He fights for human rights and climate protection.
