Tour de France: Rad-Star rolls on an embankment
CARCASSONNE. Belgian cycling star Philippe Gilbert is involved in a spectacular crash on the 16th stage of the Tour de France

Philippe Gilbert on the 16th stage of the Tour de France from Carcbadonne to Bagneres-de-Luchon:
On one of the steep slopes of the first stage of the Pyrenees, the Belgian cyclist judges badly the left turn, too quickly turn and fly virtually off of the turn. Gilbert rolls on a wall and flies over the embankment behind him.
The 36-year-old is slightly dazed on the side of the road, but he can resume the race at least for now. The accident in the video:
