Trumpf achieves the highest business figure since its inception
STUTTGART / Pasching. Trumpf, a German specialist in mechanical engineering and lasers, has increased its pre-tax profit by more than half during the 2017/18 fiscal year (as of June 30).

The operating profit of 514 million euros was 52% higher than last year, as Trumpf had announced yesterday.
The turnover has grown by 15% to 3.6 billion euros, its highest level since its inception in 1923. New orders reached 3.8 billion euros, in up 13%. The company has developed lasers that expose chip surfaces. This business is currently doing very well.
Machine builder Trumpf Maschinen Austria from Pasching is also part of the company.
