Ideal time, good atmosphere and motivated athletes – the Jubilee edition of Wachauer Radtage offered everything needed for a successful sporting event. More than 2,000 entries have attracted the event in an incomparable environment this year. Among them, many athletes from the Krems district, who were selling particularly dear for the 20th anniversary of Wachau Radtage.
Local cyclists are particularly fond of the 50-kilometer Wachauer Genuss Radtour. After a fourth place last year, just two seconds behind the winner, Mauterner Michael Harrer (RSC Krems) has done better this year and impressively secured the men's victory.
