Xiaomi seems to be developing a foldable smartphone – as Samsung and Huawei do. However, the Xiaomi model might have one thing ahead of its competitors – unless the manufacturer departs from its previous approach.
Xiaomi and Oppo develop a foldable smartphone, as Android Authority reports, citing ET Times. The foundation of this claim is that both companies work with vendors that likely produce smart phone parts and foldable displays.
Folding instead of folding
According to the source, Xiaomi is working on a design that runs the smartphone. Thus, it may be possible to extend the device to the size of the tablet.
