With an Internet advertisement for the 12-hour day that has been decided, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber has recently caused a sensation. The video, which explains innovations in the flexibilization of working time with cartoon characters, was the most-watched promotional video in Austria in the second quarter of 2018, according to Google – in front of spots from Humanic, Electric Love Festival, RWA and Hofer Austria. "For the ranking, only the videos were taken into account, which could present a minimum share of unpaid views," says one at Google. This is certainly the case with the video of the Chamber of Commerce, which has sparked a lot of criticism. Because after a storm on social media, the Chamber of Commerce has stopped the application of the clip, which records more than 412,000 views so far. It should also be noted that the ad received 17,000 negative reviews and only about 660 positive comments from users.
By comparison, Humanic's promotional video # 2 now has over 725,000 views. According to Google, only these opinions were counted, from April to June in Austria. The date of download is not relevant, which is why Hofer's video has entered the top 5.
