Avengers directors invite Tom Holland to shoot a new film about drugs and bank robbery

Avengers directors Joe and Anthony Russo announced the first details of their first film without MCU. According to Variety, actor Tom Holland would be in discussion to play a role in the Russo brothers' new film, Cherry.

The brothers are making the film, along with Jessica Goldberg (The Path) of Hulu as a writer.

The film is based on Nico Walker's 2018 "Cherry" book; It tells the story of a former army medical officer who returns home, addicted to opiates, and begins robbing banks to pay for his habit. The book is based on Walker's real life, but it contains many elements of fiction. In real life, Walker was captured after executing several robberies and is currently serving eleven years in a federal prison. its release is scheduled for November 2020. Walker wrote the book on a typewriter in jail. Holland is probably trying to play it.
