"Avengers: Endgame" is the biggest draw. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the conclusion of the sprawling saga of Disney's superheroes has destroyed ticket presale records on nearly every major platform.

In addition to its flagship film Marvel, Disney has the latest entries in several popular film franchises ready for the summer launch. "Toy Story 4", "The Lion King" and "Aladdin" are all expected to debut in the coming months.

Analysts said total domestic summer box office traffic is expected to reach or exceed the $ 4.8 billion total from last year, despite a slow start to the industry in 2019.
