Avengers: Endgame should do more than Infinity's war for its opening weekend

This is not a big surprise, but a research firm has published a report on the amount of money planned by Avengers: Endgame for its opening in April – and that is a lot.

The figures published by Research Expositor via Collider indicate that Endgame is expected to earn $ 282 million in the United States and Canada for its opening weekend and set a new record. For comparison, the 2018 Infinity War grossed $ 258 million in the nation during its opening weekend.

A huge opening weekend for Endgame is expected. Thanks to the breaking of Thanos, Infinity War ended on an epic cliffhanger. It is said that the film itself marks a conclusion in some way on the global story that began 10 years ago.

One factor that could hurt Endgame's box office is its length. The film is currently sitting at about three o'clock, making it the longest MCU film of all time. Because of this long duration, movie theaters will be limited, to some extent, by the number of daily screenings they can access.

Marvel's upcoming film is Captain Marvel, which will be released in March and is expected to bring in a lot of money for its opening weekend. The film features Captain Marvel of Brie Larson at the MCU, and she will play the role again in Endgame in April.
