Avisail Garcia crushed a dinger halfway to the moon that should have counted for two races

Rays manager Kevin Cash sent Avisail Garcia in Avisail Garcia to deceive Austin Meadows in the seventh inning, hoping the switch would restart his team's attack to make a comeback against the Orioles. Garcia hit for his first game at the bat and Cash's plan was therefore not a good start.

But in the ninth inning, while his team had lost just one goal, Garcia more than made up for his first appearance with this totally crushed player who sent the game to extra rounds.

Statcast recorded the homer as having an exit speed of 113 mph, an estimated distance of 447 feet and a launch angle of 27 degrees. A two-handed flip-flop is more than justified when you get that kind of numbers on a nutty that misleads the game late for your team.

The only thing that could have made this moment better was if it was a walk, so I suggest that if your home run touches an absurdly high structure, it should count for two.
