The speedrunners contributing to Awesome Games Done Quick have raised more than $ 2.75 million (£ 2.3 million) for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

“Our final total # AGDQ2021 is $ 2,758,847 for Prevent Cancer!” the organization announced earlier today that the event is ending. “We hope you had a wonderful time watching all the trails and talented riders, and we would like to thank everyone involved in the event, everyone who donated, and of course all of you for be here with us! ”

Money continues to pour in, however, with the total sitting just north of $ 2.76 million at the time of writing. Donations are always welcome through the official donation page and can even earn you prizes.

Games Done Quick is a charitable fundraising organization that has raised money for charity through speedrunning for the past ten years. The events are broadcast live online, without interruption, and all donations go directly to the charity.
