FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WTHR) – A little boy was born aboard a JetBlue flight en route to Fort Lauderdale on Friday.
In a statement, JetBlue said the medical staff had met the 1954 flight from San Juan (Puerto Rico) to Fort Lauderdale, after delivery aboard our youngest client to date.
"We would like to thank the crew and the health professionals on board for their quick action under pressure, and wish the new mother and her new son good luck." The 1954 flight was operated aboard the ship. 39, aircraft N523JB, dubbed "Born To Be Blue." Jennifer Dang, head of corporate communications at JetBlue, told NBC 6 in a statement Saturday.
JetBlue said it wants to rename the aircraft "Born to be Blue" after the "last born blue and our youngest client so far".
