Baby Shark animated television series in development at Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon is collaborating with the YouTube team to create the popular song "Baby Shark" in order to produce a series for preschool-age children based on music.
The song was launched on YouTube in November 2015 and has spread rapidly around the world. The song recorded a 20-week sequence on the Billboard Hot 100 list and naturally spawned its own video challenge, #BabySharkChallenge, generating more than 700,000 cover videos.
