At Baccalaureate in paradise On Tuesday, in addition to trying to weather the storm that finds love on a tropical island, the cast had to overcome something else – a true tropical storm. With a thunderous rumble in the background, the show’s producers walked up to the set to let everyone know things were getting serious.

“I know you are all expecting there to be a cocktail party and a rose ceremony tonight. Um, unfortunately that won’t happen, ”said one producer. “There is a dangerous tropical storm approaching quickly. And for an hour, he’s been heading straight for us. So, for the safety of all of you, our staff and our crew, we recommend that you evacuate immediately. In fact, we believe that it is no longer safe for you to stay in Heaven.

Tropical storms aren’t as powerful as hurricanes, but we know they cause a lot of damage nonetheless. While viewers on Twitter didn’t seem overly concerned about the cast with comments such as “All of you, it’s literally a tropical storm, the drama,” those in Heaven weren’t kidding as they quickly packed their things into what has been described. like “a frenzy”.

Fortunately, and much to the delight of viewers who were primarily concerned with the cameraman left behind to capture B-roll footage of the storm, the station didn’t take much damage and the cast were able to return. And from there, the forecast only called for … love.

Baccalaureate in paradise aired on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
