On Monday night’s episode of “The Bachelor,” star Sarah Trott eliminated herself from the race for Matt James’ heart.
The 24-year-old reporter struggled emotionally during the episode and wondered if she could handle the pressure of the show.
To ease his nerves, Trott interrupted James’ group date, taking time off the other women, which didn’t go well.
“In my heart, I know all these special moments that we’ve been through, and that, like, kills me to think, like, he’s spending these special times with other women too. I’m just, like, worry, if I, like, can ‘don’t get past that, it’s really going to be a hindrance in my relationship with Matt, and now I feel like I should do something about it,’ she said.

After Trott explained why she needed to talk to James, she retreated to her bedroom.

After being ostracized from the group, Sarah broke down even more and finally opened up to compatriot Katie Thurston about the family stress she is facing.
Her father struggles with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and, according to Trott, had only “weeks” to live.

“So that really weighs on my heart too. Time away from him,” Trott explained.
After the conversation, Trott made the decision to quit the reality show and showed up at James’ house to tell him why.
