Back on the rumors of Antonio Brown-Patriots and Tom Brady Connection in the middle of the Raiders drama | Patriots of New England

People are already afraid that all of this nonsense from Antonio Brown in Oakland will hit the receiver with the New England Patriots at some point.

And this fear is probably valid.

You know the story so far: Since being traded to the Raiders earlier this season off season by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brown's time in Oakland has been a real circus. The last event was a big showdown with GM Mike Mayock, which could very well result in the suspension, exchange or removal of Brown.

In this spirit, it is worth revisiting Brown's relationship with the Patriots.

In March, Brown on his podcast essentially shared a phone conversation with his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. During this conversation, Rosenhaus said that he had put Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert in touch with Bill Belichick, and that the Patriots were on hand to trade against Brown.

This led to this back and forth.

Rosenhaus: I think the Steelers take this very seriously and try to get an exchange. That's why they are ready to consider New England. You know, think about that. Think of playing with the best quarterback in NFL history, and he's a cool guy.

Brown: I say, they also have their first rounds (selections), so am I going to do the first two rounds? I go at least the first two rounds.

Rosenhaus: Oh yes, oh absolutely. Of course.

Brown: It would be an honor.

Rosenhaus: They will not tell me exactly what they are willing to offer, but I feel it will be very lucrative for us.

Brown: It's going to be great.

Rosenhaus: And I do not think we'll have any problem finding an agreement with these guys.

Brown: Yes, we need it, we need that respect, this guarantee, that – Robert Kraft is also a cool guy.

Rosenhaus: Kraft is one of the wealthiest men in the NFL in Alberta.

Brown: Yes, I'll get up, that would be great. This championship speech.

It was only a few months after Brown had shared an old exchange of Instagram direct messages with Pats quarterback Tom Brady, in which Brady addressed a compliment to the receiver.

You might think the Raiders would try to do everything in their power to get it right with Brown. After all, he is a talent in electricity when he is on the ground. But if things go wrong, it'll definitely end up with Brown on the Patriots, right?
