Bad Juju, and all that is new in Destiny 2 today

[ad_1]

Bungie has done a good job of giving Destiny 2 players something new to do regularly these days, and this week is particularly noteworthy in this regard. We knew that the last weekly reset would result in the 2019 Moments of Triumph, but this coincided with a new update and the release of a new series of Exotic weapon quests. Here's what you need to be ready for next time you log in.

Bad Juju is here

The beloved exotic pulsed carbine of the first Destiny, Bad Juju, is now in Destiny 2. If, like many players, you have made a trip to Eververse after the weekly reset, you have probably noticed that a pair of exotic ornaments is currently on sale for Bad Juju. In addition, among the new Moments of Triumph, you will find the acquisition of three exotic weapons, including Bad Juju. All this indicated that the weapon was in the game, and of course that is true – although the game does not do everything possible to tell you where to go or how to get it.

For a more detailed explanation of how to start the Bad Juju quest, check out our guide. But it's basically about opening a chest on Nessus. This sends you to a new area called Triumph Roomand from there, you will have to complete tasks (or spend a bunch of currency in the game) to unlock Bad Juju. This happens surprisingly shortly after the release of the Lumina Exotic handgun.

Moments of Triumph 2019

With the end of the second year of destiny, Moments of Triumph for 2019 are now available. You may have already achieved many of these goals, while some (such as the one above that requires Bad Juju) are only feasible now. Rather than awarding rewards to specific Triumphs, you will earn rewards – such as a ship, a sparrow and an emblem – for completing a number of Triumphs.

More triumphs could happen later this month, when the Solstice of Heroes The event comes back. You have until August 27 to finish Moments of Triumph.

Release Notes 2.5.1.1

Just before this debut, Bungie released a new patch, update 2.5.1.1. The release notes are not necessarily the most exciting, but they make some changes to XP clan and fix various bugs, and the Pursuits screen gets a slight touch. The update however brings a significant change to the menagerie.

Menagerie Glitch Glitch Is Fixed

From now on, the Menagerie is a case of one trunk per race. The glitch that allowed players to open the chest repeatedly at the end of a successful Menagerie run is now fixed. This means that you need to be especially careful about what you want to get out of this reward chest.
