Lamar Jackson and the offense picked up the pace and began moving the ball, controlling the clock for vast expanses. A deficit became a lead, then a bigger lead, which the Ravens’ disadvantaged and inspired defense had no trouble protecting. In the end, it added to one of the Ravens’ biggest and most satisfying wins of the season, not just another “W.” They struggled to play from behind and in the face of adversity on the pitch, as many analysts noted. It was a response to that review, and if you want to take that as a sign that the team is getting tough, I won’t argue. “It took a lot of courage and mental toughness to win this game,” said head coach John Harbaugh.
