Banshee sells the most important Warmind cell building mod

Okay, I don’t normally do posts like these, but today is a special occasion. It’s a very significant rotation of Banshee’s mods, as he sells a Warmind Cell key mod for the first time since August 2020, and you need to get it back before it’s gone for another seven months.

The mod in question is Wrath of Rasputin, essentially the Key mod for most Warmind cell builds these days which allows damage from solar splash to generate Warmind cells. This can be abilities like Sun Grenades, or weapons like Xenophage or Ticuu’s Divination, or Code Duello’s chain reaction. And that’s the only way to even spawn Warmind Cells is no longer part of a slim selection of Seraph weapons.

This is obviously even more important now that the Warmind Cells builds aren’t folding, which was Assumed will happen next season when the Season of the Worthy stuff goes, including Seraph armor and pistols, effectively killing the concept. But now these will remain intact, although Bungie has hinted that they may need to nerf Warmind Cells in the future, if they don’t suspend them anymore.

Bungie has also said that this system of only allowing seasonal mods to display in Banshee on an RNG basis is likely to change in the near future, but we don’t know when that will happen or what it will look like. Right now it just relies on the daily rotation to fill in people’s gaps if they haven’t played for months seasons or over a year ago which isn’t great, and may result in situations like …. the Warmind Cell key mod not sold for seven months.

Warmind Cell builds are still extremely powerful in high level PvE content and this is a must have for all players. I still miss the Warmind Cell build artifact that spawned them on arc ability damage, as these were better builds in my opinion, but solar has been an element since it was gone, and it doesn’t will probably not change anytime soon. I’d be frankly surprised if Bungie continued to introduce new Warmind Cell mods in the Artifact or as actual mods, given that they were ready to take the whole concept out of the game just a few weeks ago.

Either way, head to Banshee and pick up Wrath of Rasputin. You literally have 24 hours from the time of this writing, as these are daily rotations, not weekly. Remember, and God have mercy on your soul if you miss this and have to wait countless months again.
