Baptist Health to offer 12,000 appointments for COVID-19 vaccine starting Friday

CORAL GABLES, Florida. – Baptist Health will launch an online appointment booking platform starting Friday with accommodation for 12,000 slots for people 65 years and older and others at high risk to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

A press release from Baptist Health South Florida said those 65 and over, as well as high-risk members of the community, will be able to make an appointment starting Friday.

The website is Baptisthealth.net.

Those who do get an appointment will receive a distribution time slot that begins on Monday.

“We plan to continue adding availability as we add additional locations in the coming weeks,” the statement said. “The light at the end of the tunnel shines a little brighter. In the meantime, we urge everyone to continue to take the necessary safety precautions as we move forward in this fight.
