Barack Obama, ex officio chair, extraordinary speaker and fashion leader, paused during his annual getaway to Martha's Vineyard to share his summer playlist, always entertaining.
On Twitter, Obama – in collaboration with former first lady Michelle – shared a "sample" of her favorite summer jams.
The playlist included a range of songs, "some new, some old, some fast, others slowly," according to the former free world leader, who's vacationing at Martha's Vineyard for three weeks (and who would have a house there).
Drake and Rihanna launched "Too Good" first, but Obama did not play favorites in terms of gender. Among their selections: rock classics 'roll' ('Happy' from The Rolling Stones), Grammy-winning R & B stars ('Boo' d Up 'by Ella Mai,' Best Part "by Daniel Caesar & HER) and pop-Toppers charts (" Juice "by Lizzo," Old Town Road (Remix) "by Lil Nas X with Billy Ray Cyrus).
Recent discoveries have been highlighted, from the Jamaican artist Koffee ("Toast") to the Nigerian breakthrough Rema ("Iron Man"), both 19 years old. But legends of music like Stevie Wonder Donny Hathaway ("I love you more than you'll ever know") was also well represented. A Grammy Award winner, Esperanza Spalding, a Harvard professor and Harvard professor, also participated in the hit with "Espera" from her 2008 album, "Esperanza".

Lizzo, who is active on Twitter, was one of the first artists included to respond to Obama's sudden cry. "We are friends now," the singer wrote in capital letters, noting that she had tweeted earlier about her support for her two-term tenure. "I do not do the rules."

Maggie Rogers, in strong rotation around the Obamas thanks to her merry flaming song "Burning", wrote, astonishingly, that she was "swimming in a half-naked conversation" with her best friend in the Aegean Sea when Obama released his summer choice. When she returned to the coast, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter noticed her song and correctly labeled the play list as "prime Obama's content."
