TORONTO – The 44th President of the United States – and a remarkable basketball fan – has arrived for the second game of the NBA Finals.
Barack Obama crossed the back hall of the Scotiabank Arena about half an hour before the announcement of the second game of the series between the Toronto Raptors and the Golden State Warriors.
Golden State coach Steve Kerr, who wore a pre-match t-shirt with an encouraging message to vote, said he was not aware of Obama's presence until shortly before his arrival. The coach said Obama's presence made him think of the Warriors' first visit to the White House after their championship in 2015.
