Barbara Corcoran apologizes for shaming Whoopi Goldberg on The View

Barbara Cocoran, the 72-year-old real estate mogul and Shark aquarium star, apologized for a truly cold-blooded remark to co-host Whoopi Goldberg in the Thursday morning episode of View. When Goldberg jokingly wondered if a pair of Good American jeans “would be suitable for this COVID [butt]”, Its co-hosts widely protested that they would. Cocoran then jumped in to say, “And when you’re done with those jeans and decide you don’t like them, give them to me.” I’ll make two pairs. She laughed, but Goldberg looked speechless.

In a Twitter video Posted Thursday afternoon, Cocoran spoke out wearing what can only be described as a short denim dress. Referring to Whoopi’s “phenomenal sense of humor”, Cocoran apologized to “anyone I may have offended, unintentionally.” During the recording of the episode, immediately after Cocoran’s misguided joke, View regular Ana Navarro wasted no time in defending Goldberg. “Wait, wait, wait, just let me tell you something.” Sara Haines and Jill Biden already wore this dress on TV, ”Navarro said, referring to Kokoran’s vividly patterned outfit. She then tore her cue card in half as the audience screamed.
