Barbra Streisand has not looked back since the end of Donald Trump’s “unforgivable” presidency.
Streisand, 79, called Trump’s four years in power a “disaster” in a new interview with Variety and spoke of the lingering impact of his supporters.
“Remove the facts about climate change from a website?” Said the eight-time Grammy Award winner. “I mean, don’t be allowed to mention the phrase climate change.”
She added, “It was four years in a black hole. Unpardonable. Four years of people who die needlessly because they haven’t told the truth. The truth is so important. Tell people the truth, they can. deal.”

For the past two years, she has helped Gianna, daughter of the late George Floyd, become a Disney shareholder, championed essential workers in the fight against COVID-19, supported the need for LGBTQ community centers, increased its investments in organizations that advocate for gender equality, and more.
Despite her commitment to a wide range of social issues, the singer said Variety she does not intend to embark on the presidential race.
The interviewer noted Streisand’s “passion and empathy there,” to which she replied, “I do, but that doesn’t mean I’m qualified to run for a job.”
“I know my limits. I’m a pretty smart person, but not that smart,” Streisand said.
