Battlefield 2042 Game Test Details and System Requirements

EA has revealed that the Battlefield 2042 Tech Game Test, or preview, will begin August 12 and run through August 16. EA account. The playtest will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, demonstrating DICE’s commitment to bringing cross-play to Battlefield 2042.

EA and DICE have also revealed more information about their new Battlefield Portal game mode. According to their latest update on the mode, Portal “will allow you to create and find fantastic experiences made by the creative and passionate community of the series.” With the ability to tweak the game settings to your liking for different game modes, it looks like this is the most ambitious feature in the series, with an emphasis on the community experience.
