With the Battlefield 2042 beta underway, gamers were quick to provide feedback on what they liked and what needed work. One of the things that a lot of gamers have trouble with is the user interface (UI) of the beta. Fortunately, DICE has confirmed that the Battlefield 2042 user interface has already been improved, which is not surprising given that the beta is at least a few months old.

In a post on Reddit, DICE producer Ben Walke (posting as Reddit user F8RGE) confirmed this in response to this video post:

Who approved this battlefield2042 lol UI

Here’s what Walke had to say:

Many improvements have been made to the options menu for launch. The video above is a bug that has been squashed. The nuances that accompany a construction that is a few months old.

Walke also confirmed that the menus not knowing if something is on / off have also been improved in the latest versions. Now, for those who are annoyed with the number of submenus and so on, Walke has confirmed improvements on this as well.

Another thing Walke confirmed that has been improved is how the scoring system works for actions like replenishment, healing, etc.

You get absolutely no points / score for being a transport plane. Plz brings back the point system to make team combat more meaningful … of the battlefield2042

In that thread, here’s what Walke had to say:

Walke also confirmed that you will also get XP for transporting people on the map.

This is certainly good news, as currently in the beta, players are given a meager 5XP for restocking etc. I mean, sure, it’s better than having nothing at all, but that doesn’t really promote team play. Glad to hear it’s settled.

Speaking of improving the UI, that’s one of the things we highlighted in our Battlefield 2042 beta feature where we have five things we didn’t like about the beta, and five things we didn’t like about the beta. we think we clicked.

Battlefield 2042 is set to launch on November 19 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
