The famous survivor faces a fine for killing and boiling a frog in Bulgaria in 2017, the daily reported Friday.

Grylls was filming an episode of his Running Wild series with Dancing With the Stars dancer Derek Hough, when the couple was seen killing, fiddling and cooking the frog on a camp stove, reported Agence France-Presse. The incident occurred in the Rila National Park, a protected area in southwestern Bulgaria, the report said.
