SAN FRANCISCO – The New York Yankees lost two more players following injuries sustained by second baseman DJ LeMahieu and third-baseman Gio Urshela who left Sunday's game against San Francisco.

LeMahieu was removed at the bottom of the third because of an inflammation of the right knee, and the Yankees said the x-rays were negative. LeMahieu committed a foul on his knee Friday night and had his knee covered with ice after the games on Friday and Saturday. In his first season with the Yankees, LaMahieu hit an average of .310 with 15 RBIs.

Urshela left after being hit in the left hand by an 88.5 mph cutter from Nick Vincent in the fifth inning. He was replaced by Cameron Maybin.

The Yankees then said that X-rays on Urshela's hand were negative.

Urshela has two hits on Sunday and battles at .351 with six runs in 57 points.

New York entered the lists with 13 players on the injured list.

Associated Press contributed to this report.
