Odell Beckham Jr. participated in his first field training on Tuesday with the Cleveland Browns as they began organized team activities.

OTAs consist of 10 volunteer days over the next three weeks. It is not known yet whether Beckham plans to participate in the 10 practices. The wide receiver of the Pro Bowl participated in seven of the top 10 Giants of New York last year.

The Browns also have a mandatory three-day minicamp in June.

Cleveland acquired Beckham to team up with quarterback Baker Mayfield, the No. 1 pick in 2018. Mayfield led the Browns to a 7-8-1 mark last season after a 0-16 formation. years.

After his preliminary press conference in early April, Beckham went on vacation to work in California and take care of his personal belongings.

Browns coach Freddie Kitchens defended Beckham's decision to miss his voluntary training, saying he was in permanent contact with the 26-year-old and confident that he would be ready to play .
