# 4 Vince Russo suggests AEW-Asuka rumor misconception

Vince Russo thinks WWE should use Asuka’s absence from the screen by spreading a newsworthy AEW rumor.

According to Russo, spreading false reports about his contract negotiations with Tony Khan’s promotion would generate a lot of buzz ahead of his eventual return to WWE.

Here’s what he had to say about the idea while chatting with Dr Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda Wrestling:

“If that was me and I was WWE, bro, I would start putting things in there, working sheets of dirt and everything like that, that Asuka is in negotiations with AEW. would I put in there if I was in WWE. ” Russo continued, “I would really put that in there, bro, and they would, and then bring her back. That’s what I would do.”

He also mentioned that Asuka might have a feud with Becky Lynch when she returns. Last year, The Empress of Tomorrow became RAW Women’s Champion right after Lynch relinquished the title due to the announcement of her pregnancy.
