In early 2019, it was widely reported that The Revival had asked to leave the WWE because of their concerns about the lack of focus on Raw's tag division.

Since then, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder have played a leading role in Raw and SmackDown. They are currently preparing to challenge Big E & Xavier Woods of New Day for the SmackDown team titles at Clash of Champions on September 15th.

Speaking of the last episode of Dropkick DiSKussions, Tom Colohue from Sportskeeda mentioned that Dawson and Wilder are both happier now about their situation in the company.

"After what was said, they definitely expressed concerns about sharing tags. Changes have been made since then and they are happier than now with WWE. "

The WWE of Revival in 2019

Shortly after seeking their release, The Revival defeated Bobby Roode & Chad Gable on Raw in February 2019 to win the Raw Tag Team Titles for the first time in their career.

The former NXT Tag Team Champions then defended their titles against Roode & Gable and Aleister Black & Ricochet at Fastlane in March, before losing Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder to the WrestleMania 35 launching show.

After an untitled rivalry with The Usos, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder took over Raw's Hawkins & Ryder Raw Team Championships in June before defending them successfully against The Usos at Extreme Rules.

After losing the titles of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to Raw in July, The Revival is associated with Randy Orton to repeatedly attack their common rivals – Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods – and the duo is recently became the first co-winners of the 24/7 championship.

From now on, Orton will face Kingston for the WWE title at the Clash of Champions, while Dawson & Wilder will attempt to become SmackDown team champion for the first time against Big E & Woods at the same event.
