In Volgograd will establish the production of ribbons emitting drip irrigation

Until the end of 2018 in Volgograd, the production of transmitter-type drip irrigation ribbons will be launched. According to the industry and trade committee of the Volgograd region, the regional administration has entered into a corresponding investment agreement with Zeleny Rising LLC.

Currently, the investor rebuilds the production site in the Dzerzhinsky district of the city, buys equipment. When the new company reaches the expected capacity, the production volume will rise to 77,000 kilometers of production per year. The project will create 27 high performance jobs. The total cost of the investment project is about 170 million rubles

– The products for drip irrigation are requested by the Volgograd agrarians, this project has good prospects , – said Roman Bekov, vice district governor of Volgograd. – The creation and modernization of existing industrial production with the attraction of investor funds and state support is a priority of the long-term development strategy of the Volgograd region, designated by the Governor Andrei Bocharov. Since 2014, 36 industrial investment projects have been implemented in the region, the amount of state support has exceeded the 9.7 billion rubles, more than 3,000 new jobs have been opened. Until 2027, it is planned to open 42 new production sites, – explained in oblpromtorg.

It should be added that according to the information of oblkomselkhoz, in the region of Volgograd, drip irrigation systems have been installed on more than 20 000 hectares. The development of improvement in the area is the focus of special attention – thanks to state support since 2014, the irrigation areas have gone from 33 thousand hectares to 47 thousand hectares.
