"This generation, born in the 1990s, was very lucky because the competition on the labor market for them will be the weakest," he said (quoted by TASS). According to the minister, the number of jobs is increasing, so that graduates of higher education institutions of this generation have fallen into the most favorable conditions.

Oreshkin added that according to statistics the lowest unemployment rate is observed among the elderly. He pointed out that the government will not allow the deterioration of the labor market situation for older workers due to the increase in the age of retirement.

The bill provides for a gradual increase in the age of retirement. 63 years old by 2034 and for men 60-65 years old by 2028

According to the Ministry of Economic Development, pension reform and government measures to improve the health of the population will already increase in 2019 the number of employees of 300,000 people; from here 2024 – n and 1.8 million compared to the scenario without increasing the age of retirement.
