Flights to Urgench transferred to Nukus

TASHKENT, July 18 – Sputnik. Due to the closure of Urgench airport, the national airline "Uzbekistan Airways" has corrected the flight schedule.

Some flights on the Tachkent-Urgench-Tashkent route 18 and 19 are canceled. The Nukus Airport where pbadengers will be provided with a bus transfer to Urgench Airport.

"Travelers with Urgench plane tickets to Tashkent, we ask you to come to Urgench airport no later than 4 hours before flight departure on schedules above, to ensure the transport of pbadengers by bus to Nukus airport ".

Uzbekiston Havo Yollari apologizes for the inconvenience and asks pbadengers to regularly monitor updates on the company's website.

"NAC management takes all possible measures Urgench Airport will be resumed as soon as possible," added the airline.

The Urgench International Airport is temporarily closed from July 16 this year for technical reasons and because of the thermal regime.
