The study is based on data from a household survey in urban URUGUAY in March 2018 compared to the figures from the same period a year earlier. The indicators badyzed do not take into account the category of beer.
"Strong alcohol, still wines, champagnes and sparkling wines are bought by 86% of households at least once a year". 10 liters of wine, almost half the volume of annual purchases of alcohol. At the same time, 59% of families buy wine at least once a year, 1.5% more than a year ago. On average, the frequency of wine purchases is about seven times a year, and people buy an average of 1.4 liters of wine per visit. Consumption of still wines for the last year increased by 8.8% in physical terms, experts say.
