MINSK, July 30 – Sputnik. According to the statistics of the National Bank of the Republic, the citizens of Belarus borrowed 10 billion rubles from the banks last July.
The National Bank has published another statistical bulletin reflecting the statistics provided by financial market entities.
So, according to the regulator, on July 1, the indebtedness of individuals to the banks of the republic for borrowed funds was 10 billion 162 million
This figure increased by 172 million rubles compared to June 2018.
Earlier, the National Bank, referring to the recorded boom in consumer loans in Belarus, introduced compulsory compulsory financing from May 1 for all banks, the ratio of credit, which is calculated when loans are granted to Belarusians. According to the regulator, this should reduce the credit activity of the population, which negatively affects the state of the country's economy.
