French cyclist Alafilippe wins at the 10th stage of the Tour de France – Cycling News – Summer

Alafilippe overcame a distance of 158.5 km in 4 hours 25 minutes 27 seconds. Second place was taken by the Spanish rider of the team Bahrain-Merida Ion Isagirre (1 minute 34 seconds behind). The third was the Estonian Rhine Taarmäe of the Direct Energie team (+1.40). Fourth place was taken by the Belgian general leader Greve van Avermart of BMC (+1.44).

Van Avermart strengthened leadership in the overall standings. Second place overall is taken by Britain's Geraint Thomas of Sky (+2.22). Third, the Spanish Alejandro Valverde of Movistar (+3.10)

Chris Frum (Sky), four time winner of the Tour de France, is sixth (+3.21), winner of the Italian 2014 Vincenzo Nibali ( Bahrain-Merida) – the ninth (+3.27). The Russian Ilnur Zakarin (Katyusha-Alpezin) is back in 18th place overall, losing the leader 5 minutes 12 seconds.

The 11th stage will take place Wednesday between Albertville and Space San Bernardo. The length of the stage will be 108.5 km.
