According to the director of "Uzneftegazgeologiya" LLC Gulmurod Mavlyanov, the previous gas was found mainly in the upper and middle deposits of the Jurbadic age. And now, the specialists of the JSC "Uzbekneftegas" have found an industrial gas condensate deposit "Kuyi Surgil" in the Lower Jurbadic deposits.
It is the second productive well of this deposit. Its productivity was suggested by geologists earlier, the first confirmation result came early this year after the first well was drilled. The success of the second well confirms the prospects of the new field.
After having finished literally drilling the second exploration well, we received an industrial influx of natural gas and gas condensate, "explains Gulmurod Mavlyanov. The well is deep, it was drilled more than 3600 m and according to experts, the productive contour of the field is expanding.
Currently, gaseous condensate studies are conducted at the well and are working on potential productive horizons
The third well is also drilled for further exploration of the deposit and drilling of the fourth well is planned.
