Moldova – fifth place in terms of wages in the CIS

The report of the Research Institute of Social Policy of the Higher School of Economics of Russia says that the highest salary level remains in Russia – 670.9 dollars. On the second place Kazakhstan – 459.1, Belarus – 421.9, Azerbaijan – 306.7, Moldova – 308.4, Ukraine – 272.9 dollars

The most low wages among CIS countries is registered in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, writes Oxu.az.

In 2017, the real wage in Tajikistan was 137 dollars, in Kyrgyzstan it was 216.3 dollars. These are the lowest rates among the CIS countries and the countries of the former post-Soviet space.

The rating is established taking into account the dollar rate in these countries at the end of 2017. The badysis was based on data from the national statistical services, the statistical bases of the Organization for Cooperation and Development. Economic Development (OECD), the CIS Statistical Committee, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
