CHISINAU, July 10 – Sputnik. The Moldovan authorities are preparing a project for a unified wage system in the budget sector. The corresponding initiative was discussed Tuesday at a meeting under the leadership of Prime Minister of the Republic of Pavel Filip.

According to the Government Press Service the draft document was prepared by the Ministry of Finance. experts in budgetary structures and institutions. The project is based on the concept of a single wage system, approved by the government last July

According to the Prime Minister, the reform of the wage system in the budget sector is complex, as is the reform of the pension system. As the government press service explains, current legislation in this area has become cumbersome and opaque because of transparency and justice in the system. miscellaneous

This bill does not provide for the amount of wages per se. It will be calculated annually on the basis of the minimum wage set at the beginning of the year in the budget law. According to the project, the new system will represent a single tariff scale of 15 categories and 130 pay clbades. Salary will be the main element of employee compensation, the majority of allowances will be included.

The transition to a single wage system in the budget sector will reduce the number of regulations that set the terms of payment. Salaries of state employees will be regulated by one law. This will ensure a transparent, fair and easy-to-manage compensation system. The Prime Minister demanded that the bill be ready as soon as possible, after which it will be submitted for public discussion.
