Mozilla has decided to make a significant brand change to its products, introducing users to a new set of icons for all its solutions – from the mobile browser to the file sharing service. There are two sets called System 1 and System 2. Each has a "master icon", as well as sample icons for Mozilla applications and services.
As noted in the enterprise, each of the elements will go through several stages of refinement, so their final version may differ markedly from what is presented now. Previously, Mozilla had already taken similar steps, but no large-scale redesign has been done.
The company does not plan to accept the user design variants, nor to vote to select the best set. The goal of Mozilla is to get comments.
