Perm group of agricultural machinery received official status

Machine builders and component manufacturers are convinced that pooling resources will create highly efficient and competitive agricultural machinery and develop machinery in the region. The main participants in the cluster were Krasnokamsky RMZ, Navigator-NM, Tekhnograd and Bolshaya Zemlya. In addition to them, three Perm higher education institutions have entered the cluster: the Institute of Advanced Studies and Recycling of the CCDR, the Polytechnic Institute (PIIPU) and the Approved and Technical University Pryashnikov.

Earlier, Perm Krai Governor Maxim Reshetnikov announced the need to develop the cluster policy of the region. The head of the Kama region noted that the government of Krai should help reduce business costs, promote the export business products and contribute to the development of the industry. As explained in the regional Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the total investment in the Joint projects of cluster members will amount to about 237 million rubles. According to the director of Krasnokamsky RMZ, one of the initiators of the cluster, Dmitry Teplov, there are all conditions for the creation of modern agricultural equipment in Permsky Krai: there are manufacturers of machines and components, resellers and suppliers of foreign material, as well as powerful scientific centers.

The unification of efforts will contribute to the development of more advanced equipment meeting the current requirements of farmers. Cluster cooperation will increase the number of scientific developments – an annual launch of five new models of agricultural machinery and five modifications of existing machines is planned. In addition, Krasnokamsky RMZ and other members of the badociation participate in the federal program to increase labor productivity, which will help increase the production of cluster companies from 1.5 billion rubles in 2017 to 3.5 billion by 2020.

The agricultural machinery cluster of the Perm region was introduced in 2017 at the All-Russian summit "AgroMash". The government of the region has made a proposal to give official status to the badociation and register it at the federal level.
