The authorities of the Voronezh region have planned to increase the number of SMEs by 15%

The Voronezh oblast authorities plan to increase the number of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by 15%, to 100 thousand enterprises, said Governor Alexander Gusev at a Regional Government meeting on Thursday 12 July. These indicators should be achieved under the decree of President Vladimir Putin on the strategic tasks of development of the Russian Federation until 2024.

In 2017, the growth of the number of SMEs in the region increased by 3% . According to Alexander Gusev, this has been facilitated by support measures implemented at the legislative, financial, real estate and advisory levels. Thus, the volume of funds attracted by federal institutions for the development of SMEs rose to 3.6 billion rubles in 2017.

The head of the region stressed that the work in this direction will be improved. He recalled that on the basis of the Maslovsky Industrial Park near Voronezh, about 25 hectares of land with developed infrastructure have been allocated for the placement of SME entities.

The authorities also lowered the entry threshold of companies in the territory of Maslovskaya. Alexander Gusev also reported that in the region a working group of municipal district leaders has been created to address the issue of municipal enterprise participation in public and municipal procurement at the regional government level. . The so-called unbundling of public procurement will be carried out in the Voronezh region from 2019.

– We must do this so that at least 30% of the representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises take part in the work for 30 % of the funds we spend on public procurement, – Define the task of the provisional governor.

He also stressed the importance of interaction between small and large companies both in terms of information and during the creation of clusters. Alexander Gusev urged to take work in this direction seriously, and not as an "action for the formation of responsibility."
