In the city of Vysotsk, district of Vyborg, was held the inauguration of the post "Cryogas". As the representatives of JSC "LOESK" badure, this post is the most modern of the Leningrad region. The substation should be part of the plant of the same name for the liquefaction of natural gas, which is currently under construction in Vysotsk.

The opening was visited by the governor of the Leningrad region, Alexander Drozdenko. According to the governor, the factory under construction will solve the problem of gasification in Vyborgsky district.

You know that there is rocky terrain in the Vyborgsky district, so we have not been able to completely gasify the Vyborg district. With the launch of this plant, we will move away from the problem of pipeline pipeline construction. We will receive gas from the Cryogas factory with special gas carriers, which they now buy for us

Alexander Drozdenko

Governor of the Leningrad Region

The First Stage of the "Cryogas" natural gas liquefaction plant should be commissioned in the first quarter of 2019.

PO "Cryogas" was built in a short time. The main objective of the construction of the substation was the electricity supply of the plant for the production of liquefied natural gas "Cryogas", which is currently under construction. In addition, the substation will improve the energy supply of the city of Vysotsk. On the line of PO "Cryogas" it is planned to transfer the area of the city with a population of 1000.

A distinctive feature of the substation is the complete automation. It does not require staff to control it. Most of the actions can be done remotely, and special detectors immediately alert LOESK dispatchers of any malfunctions.

As we have already indicated, by 2020, it is planned to build a 110 kV transmission line at Popovo – Tyagovaya substation. The line will improve the reliability of the power supply of the factory "Cryogas" and the city of Vysotsk.
