The Russians will play the first match of the second qualifying round of the 2019 World Cup in Pardubice with the Czech team on 13 September.

The Russian national team, having won three victories in six matches, takes third place before the second qualifying round. The leaders of the group are the French (6 wins), the Czechs in second place (5 wins, 1 defeat).
