The Voronezh region government has signed an agreement with the Federal Antimonopoly Service on cooperation

The Voronezh region government and the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) signed a cooperation agreement on Thursday, 12 July. The signing of the document was attended by Regional Governor Alexander Gusev and Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Andrei Koshevarov. The agreement provides badistance to the Voronezh region in the field of improving anti-monopoly legislation. The next step will be the development of a roadmap for the development of competition.

– First of all, this document on cooperation. It's such an honest exchange of information about what's happening in the region in terms of improving the development of competition and tariff regulation. This will allow us to receive feedback from our federal colleagues on whether we are going in the right direction and whether we are executing the orders that have been formed within the State Council to improve the competitive environment in Russia.

According to him, In the framework of the execution of federal missions, the Voronezh Region will apply innovations in the field of development of antimonopoly legislation. We are talking about the unbundling of public policy at the regional government level, the involvement of non-profit organizations in the social services sector and small business development. tourism, said the head of the Department of Economic Relations, Anatoly Bukreev. At the same time, a low level of competition is observed in the housing and communal services and social services sectors. As Anatoly Bukreev explains, in the field of medical and social services, the development of competition is hampered by "rigid barriers and legislative requirements". In this regard, the government sees an exit in reducing these barriers to expand market access for SME representatives.

Andrei Koshevarov, deputy head of Russia's ESAF, reminded that in December 2017, President Vladimir Putin signed a document. . It plans to increase the level of customer satisfaction, increasing the economic efficiency of companies and their competitiveness. It also includes the development of measures to "denationalize the economy" and increase private initiative. As part of the president's training, Russian subjects have begun to develop a roadmap that, according to Andrei Koshevarov, will "reset" the current competition standard.

41 branches were identified for the implementation of the road map. Of the 41 industries, at least 33 must be met, depending on the target values ​​will be set.

– In the Voronezh region, targets have already been reached for 21 branches. At the same time, in all eight sectors, 100% is achieved, in 95% of cases, and in three industries the values ​​exceed the reference value by 3 to 4 times. We are talking about the fact that it is a good start for the roadmap, which will now be developed after the signing of the agreement.
