Uzbekistan will finally have its own tea: a special center and plantations are created for this purpose

In the four provinces of the country – Navoi, Tashkent, Jizzakh and Surkhandarya, an industrial plantation for the cultivation of tea of ​​a total area of ​​283 hectares will be created, which will provide 189 tons of tea annually. here 2025.

Organize this work in the country will be established Scientific and Production Center for the development of tea production. Its founders are Uzbekozikavkatholding, Wau Tea Group, VIM Trade Group, as well as tea farms.

This structure will organize the purchase of seeds and tea plants, provide them with farms and entrepreneurs, develop technology for the cultivation of this crop. taking into account the climatic and other conditions of the republic, the establishment of industrial tea plantations, the constant increase in the volume of tea products harvest.

In addition, she will be responsible for the introduction of modern production and processing of tea products, the development of systems for maintaining high quality products and marketing for export to foreign markets, maintaining contacts with global tea producers for the exchange of experiences and the attraction of modern and proven technologies. a new center – the establishment, with "Uzbekkozikavkathouldolding" of a company for the production of tea and tea products in the Zaamin district of the Djizak region.
