The German chemical giant BASF will inject 25 million dollars (21.5 million euros) into Materialize, a company based in Leuven and specialized in 3D printers. The strategic alliance was announced Wednesday evening by Materialize.BASF and Materialize are collaborating to improve the materials and software for 3D technologies, and put them on the market faster. They focus on consumer goods, but also on the automotive and aerospace industries.
