The interior of the country is expected to continue to enjoy significant cloudy weather on Monday, while cloudy fields will cover the western part of the country. The cloud will increase during the day over the northwestern half of the country and showers will be possible, even a thunderclap locally. The mercury will rise up to 25 degrees at the coast and 31 or 32 degrees in Kempen. The wind, from south to southwest, will be moderate. In the evening and during the night, the clouds will persist in the northwest with a chance of showers at times. Tuesday will begin with abundant cloud cover and showers, locally accompanied by a thunderclap, mainly to the east. The weather will then become drier and clearings will appear from the shoreline. The maxima will fluctuate between 22 degrees at sea and 24 to 29 degrees elsewhere. Wednesday will act as a transition, with variable cloudiness and afternoon showers south of the Sambre-et-Meuse valley. In other regions, the weather should remain dry. Temperatures will reach 22 degrees on the coast, 28 degrees in Kempen and about 26 degrees in the center, in a light to moderate wind of varying directions or north. (Belga)
